Vista Engineering & Consulting, LLC, a Birmingham, Alabama-based engineering firm, celebrated its 25th anniversary in style on Thursday, October 5, 2023, with a company party at The City Club. The event was a roaring good time, with employees and their guests enjoying delicious food, drinks, music, and dancing.

The party began with a cocktail reception, where guests mingled and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Following the reception, guests were treated to dinner options including prime rib and chicken stir fry.

The program included a speech from Vista CEO and Founder Raymond Thompson, PhD, PE. Thompson thanked everyone for coming and shared some reflections on the company’s 25 years in business. He highlighted Vista’s many accomplishments over the years, including its commitment to innovation, its dedication to its customers, and its strong company culture. Many of our good and loyal clients were also in attendance and were thanked for trusting us with their engineering needs over the years.

 

 

Part of the celebration was also Pam Thompson, Dr. Thompson’s wife of 50+ years, on her 70th birthday! The guests were led in the “Happy Birthday” song to celebrate the special woman whose support was critical to Vista’s early success.

Running continuously, the program featured a slideshow of Vista’s history. The slideshow showcased the company’s growth and evolution over the years, as well as its many successes.

The program concluded with Thompson’s appreciation of Vista employees past and present who have contributed to the company’s success. These employees were recognized for their dedication and hard work.

The Vista Engineering & Consulting 25th anniversary party was a truly special event. It was a night to celebrate the company’s accomplishments, its employees, and its bright future.

In addition to being a fun and festive event, the party was also a great opportunity for Vista employees and clients to bond with each other and celebrate their collective success. The company’s strong culture is one of its greatest assets, and the party was a testament to that.
